The first delivery is to take place no more than thirty (30) counted working days from the notification of contract approval, pending agreement on payment specifications. The shipments will be able to be supplied at different period times, but in no case will they be smaller than one hundred (100) monthly cylinders of one hundred fifty (150) pounds each. Additional Provisions (1)Contract Fulfillment Bond: A bond will be required as a guarantee by the supplier, in the amount of 10% of the value of the contract. This bond will remain in place until the client expresses fulfillment through a letter of satisfaction. (2)Quality Bond: Prior to first shipment, a quality bond will be required by the supplier, in the amount of 15% of the value of the contract. This will be in place until all supplies are confirmed by the client, by letter. (3)Bond of outstanding balances: A bond will be required as a guarantee by the supplier, in the amount of 5% of the value of the contract. This bond must be submitted with the quality bond (2). If there are no outstanding balances at the end of the contract, the bond is to be released. (4)The supplier must contract an insurance bond against any damage to the supply as well as to the cylinders. The amount of the insurance bond must be the value of the supply plus 10%. Contracting of the insurance bond, as well as premium payments are the responsibility of the supplier and the policy must include a clause designating the client as the sole beneficiary to whom the insurance company will compensate in the event of a disaster. This policy must be in place until all supplies are confirmed by the client, by letter. (5)The supplier is responsible for all tariffs, taxes, and duties associated with a current local and foreign legislation. (6)All overseas documents must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (7)There must three (3) copies of the proposal. It should be indicated, clearly, which copy is the original and which two (2) are copies, the original copy takes precedence. (8)The following percentages reflect the importance of each factor in supplier choice: Price: 70% Delivery: 20% Supplier experience: 10% (9) Overseas shipments cannot have trade restrictions.
