DETAILED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Supply and delivery of medium vans and variants for the Government Land Transport Agency. B. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL DATA: Tenders are invited for the supply, delivery and maintenance of 525 long body medium vans (right-hand drive) of the following versions. A. Full panel van version; B. Half-panel van, 5-passenger version; C. Full-window van, 7-passenger forward facing version; D. Full-window van, 7-passenger side facing version. The estimated quantities required for this tender will cover a period of three (3) years as follows: Second Year - 152 units Third Year - 90 units The prices quoted shall include all handling, package and freight, pre-delivery inspection and local delivery including collection of vehicle from the wharf. All vehicles shall comply with Road Traffic (Construction & Maintenance of Vehicles) Regulations, HKEPD (Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department) Air Pollution Control (Vehicle Design Standards) (Emission) Regulations and Noise Control (Motor Vehicles) Regulations which are in effect or will likely be in effect on the date that the vehicles are delivered. All vehicles offered are to be Standard Export Models, with minimum equipment. All vehicles are to be fitted with electrical equipment and cooling systems, suitable for use in tropical conditions. All vehicles fitted with petrol engines are to be suitable for using 95 Octane Rating unleaded fuel. For those vehicles fitted with diesel engine, they shall conform with the latest emission requirements Control (Vehicles Design Standards) (Emission) Regulations 1991. All vehicles are to comply with the latest edition of the Road Traffic Ordinance Chapter 374 of the Laws in Hong Kong or any relevant legislation in force from time to time known at the time of tender. All vehicles are to be fully radio suppressed to meet the requirements of the Department of the Hong Kong Telecommunication (Control of Interference) Regulations 1966 (Regulation No. 7). All instrumentation must be calibrated to read in metric units. Tenderers should note that all vehicles offered will be required to undergo road test and inspection free of all cost to Government. C. A separate quotation for the supply of recommended spare parts package (components of package to be itemized and individually priced) for 2 years anticipated normal maintenance must be included with the tender.
