It should consist of the following. 1. A non-contact hand-held, portable laser digitizer that is able to collect three-dimensional coordinates from a body surface using a non-contact laser. 2. A non-contact optical scanner that is able to capture images from the positive or negative cast of the leg, arm and head of the patient. 3. A 4-axis carver that should be able to carve positive models in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. 4. Computers with software for designing a wide range of prosthetics and orthotics. Two sets of operation and service manuals complete with full parts list and all circuit diagrams are to be provided. On site operation training and service training for the prosthetic and orthotic application, the maintenance, alignment and calibration of the equipment should be provided.
